Like they have online at the Ford dealer parts department.

u can buy the dealer software.....think it runs about $600 per vehicle tho....so good luck with that.... also can buy a dealer shop manual for around 200 but wont b as good as the computer version....

Ford Dealers are not restricted or prohibitive from installing after market parts. Dealers can tell you if the parts would void your warranty in whole or part. It's best to find a dealer is also a dealer for ford performance parts. When I worked at a dealer in Boulder CO. they would modify turbocoupes with suspension upgrades, tires, body kit, ECU from SVO mustang and a 3inch exhaust from the turbo back. Ford covered everything but parts and paint the dealer put on. Not all dealers will because of worries over liability. But they can.

I need to buy a new roof panel because my current one is rusting. I already shopped my local Ford dealer, but I want to check if I can get a better deal elsewhere. It's an 2000 F150 supercab.

I bought a 2002 Ford Explorer in August of 2006. The latch on the back window just broke, causing the window to almost fall off and break. I got it back in temporarily, but it needs to be replaced. I see it was a recalled part back in 2003, and at that time you could take it back to Ford and they would replace it for free. Can I still take it back to Ford to be replaced, even though I bought it used? Thanks!
